Community Partners
Our Community Partnership Model
TPP’s Community Partnership Model addresses inequality of opportunity through authentic community inclusion.
Our workshop based programmes are co-designed and co-delivered through partnerships with Community organisations and individuals. These partnerships are dynamic and mutually beneficial. Through working with specialist Partner practitioners, the Pelicans are provided with high quality experiences, resources and venues. Partners benefit from the opportunity to shape their own (or organisational) practice from the experience of working with us. Pelican members act as powerful Communication Allys (key terms hyperlink) within partnerships, through their role in supporting others' understanding of the group they represent.
Partnering with The Pelican Project
The Pelican members and all at TPP thrive on the diversity of our Partnerships. We are excited to work with collaborators who are open to learning, adapting and recognising that our members are not just participants but also drivers of change. We seek all opportunities, including those which celebrate diversity and root in cultural relevance.
We believe that collaborative preparation is key to successful partnerships and have a well supported process that is adapted to each partner. We will guide prospective Partners through this following an initial Expression Of Interest (hyperlink to EOI). We welcome new and experienced partners alike.
All of our workshop programmes are co-facilitated by Community Partners and TPP’s facilitators. The latter provide relational security for members to engage with new experiences provided by the partners.
