What Do We Offer Pelican Members?

Pelican members have access to a core programme of dynamic workshop based sessions which run in Pelican term time (link to dates). These workshops are co designed with Community Partners and co delivered by TPP Facilitators and the Community partner. Our workshop programme is wide-ranging, spanning creative, cultural, physical and environmental activity.

As well as our Core Programme, we offer an additional Community Partnership opportunities which are communicated as they arise.

We are also piloting Affiliated Membership for isolated individuals who are unable to attend in person.

What happens next?

After TPP receive an Expression of Interest form, they will be in touch with you. If they feel the Core Programme may be a suitable option for you, they will arrange a meeting to discuss this with you further and give you the opportunity to find out more.

Before potential Pelican members join, they will be offered Taster Sessions which are free of charge. This will give them the opportunity to directly experience the different workshops on the Core Programme as well as enabling TPP team to get to know them. The number of Taster sessions will depend on individual need and be decided by TPP management team.

How to register as a Pelican member will be explained as part of this process.

Independent Attendance Information

There is an expectation that members attending will be accompanied by a support member. TPP is, however, committed to promoting independent access to community inclusion opportunities for those who are already doing so safely, independently and consistently. In this instance, a member may attend independently but only with a signed Independent Agreement in place. This is in line with the TPP’s commitment to protecting the health, safety and welfare of its members and will be discussed during the initial meeting and Registration process.
